Prospector’s Pub Crawl, Bulawayo

Inspired by the antics of the hardy souls who made their fortunes the hard way in the wilds of Africa, a vibrant tour has been created to show off the city’s more well-known historical watering holes – but with a twist! This walk back in time aims to take guests back to the heady days of Bulawayo’s pioneer boom, fuelled by gold and driven by some of the toughest prospectors ever to swing a pick-axe. This tour consists of an afternoon amble where we revel in the charming melange of Bulawayo’s buildings and bars while enjoying a quiet pint or two. Bulawayo has been renowned for its hospitality for more than a century and today is no exception. In the course of an the afternoon several pubs in the city centre, each with its unique character, history and traditions, will be visited.
